Cortec® multimetal VpCI® papers eliminate the need to inventory a variety of papers for each of the metals you need to protect, and prevent package contamination by utilizing only the highest quality neutral/natural kraft paper. Cortec® VpCI® papers are simple to use: There are no chemical concentrations to calculate or application systems to maintain, and your products can be used immediately – no surface preparation or cleaning is required.
All Cortec® VpCI® papers are environmentally safe: Fully recyclable and repulpable, biodegradable and nontoxic; no nitrites are present. They provide an excellent alternative to oil coatings or other VCI/VPI papers that contain hazardous chemicals.
These papers provide exceptional protection for dry or oiled metals during storage, transit and overseas shipment. Cortec® also offers a selection of coatings for flexible packaging substrates.
VpCI®-144
Barrier Coated Papers – Designed for barrier protection from moisture and other contaminants. Replaces wax and polycoated papers. VpCI®-144 is fully recyclable and is the first product in its class to be repulpable.
VpCI®-145
Anti-Static Papers – Designed specifically for the electronics industry. This product will eliminate static buildup and in addition provide contact and barrier corrosion inhibition.
Cor-Pak® Reinforced Paper
Reinforced Papers – High quality composite construction designed for applications where greater mechanical strength is required.
VpCI®-146
Corrosion Inhibiting Papers – High quality VpCI® coated neutral natural kraft that eliminates packaging contamination found with competing VCI papers. Also available in VpCI®-146 Crepe.
Cor-Pak® Linerboard
Linerboards – VpCI® treated linerboard that is recyclable and repulpable and eliminates the need for a secondary packaging source.
Cor-Pak® Polycoated Paper
Polycoated Papers – High quality neutral natural kraft paper designed for applications where greater mechanical strength and moisture, oil and grease resistance is required.
EcoShield® Linerboard
Coated Linerboard – VpCI® linerboard that also provides a moisture and oil barrier. Recyclable and repulpable.
Silverbrite™ Paper
Specialty Papers – Combines high quality VpCI® coating on one side, with a scavenger for H2S on the opposite side. For the protection of silver, copper and brass. Changes color after the Silverbrite is used up.
